Celeste A Frazier

Rev. Celeste's guest is Vaugn Taylor, the founder and Chief Purpose Officer of The Core Guide Center (www.coreguidecenter.com). The Core Guide Center offers tools for anyone to use to learn how to pause, surrender, let go, heal and mature emotionally, and begin the journey of being present, all while learning self-care, one thought at a time. Vaugn has over 30 years of experience studying energy, spirituality, and recovery.

For years, Rev. Celeste has been receiving Daily Vibrations from Vaugn every morning affirming a conscious choice to be present with herself and move toward a greater wholeness. The Daily Vibrations are affirmations that invite us to go within. Vaugn started getting these messages back in 2012.

She realized that the world doesn't guide her. The Core Guide is within her center. We all want a solid structure, but rather than look for it outside of us, we can find it inside. Vaugn thinks the impetus is to learn how to pause, in a quiet way, so she can understand. There's a different language we all speak energetically and healing wise. When she hears her next tool, it takes her inside and there's a calmer solution. Celeste said when she can't find something, she looks inside. It's the last place she looks.

Vaugn realized Spirit looks forward but the mind looks back. She tries to catch herself when she is trying to bring yesterday forward. She began unlayering the generational influences and nourishing the collection of tools.

When Celeste asked her how Ancient Wisdom has influenced her work, Vaugn replied, "It's all ancient wisdom". Vaugn realized that when she's heard enough, she becomes willing to change. Then, the ancient wisdom applies right to exactly where she is and what she's going through. If she spent a little less time in denial, pushing away the Truth and just make a little room, it lands on her.

Celeste thinks we don't push the Truth away consciously. We may think we have a better idea than God, for some reason. Vaugn says she began to realize the generational trends. She saw that her generation is doing it differently because we are forced to, and thank God for that. Everything we do gives the next generation an opportunity to get there sooner. Each generation can progressively support the next one.

Vaugn's references in her bio are to helping women, so Celeste asked if it is also applicable to men. Vaugn works with a lot of men, but she has met so many amazing, talented women who suffer from low self-esteem. Many women would like to be like them, and the very person they want to be is not enjoying her own life. Women are a strong essence of the new movement forward. A Course in Miracles says I teach someone and they teach me (acim.org). The men that have done her work have worked just as hard, if not harder - because men may be a little more vulnerable.

Celeste said the egoic mind gets us in trouble and it's the Wisdom - the Sofia Mind, that pulls us forward.

Vaugn didn't trust herself. Vaugn went to her emotion coach and realized the glory of growing and getting closer to her heart. Celeste asked what an emotions coach is. Vaugn finds value in therapy, but sometimes just needs help with spot emotions. When she began this, she wanted to be in the ballpark of having appropriate emotions. She sought to build her relationship with Truth.

She is the author of "Go Vertical, A Guide to Letting Go workbook" that provides a framework for individuals to Let Go, Love, and Expand their lives. In addition, her program “Level Up Self-Care,” offers a 4 step guide for women to discover their power, light, and Highest good, one thought at a time.

Where Vaugn once lived a life of chaos with moments of Peace, she now lives a life of Peace with moments of chaos.

Celeste's poem is called "Level Up".
